The front head of hydraulic breaker is a crucial component of the excavator breaker hammer.
Main Functions:
Guiding Function: The front head houses bushings, guide sleeves, and other components that mate with the outer diameter of the chisel. These guide the chisel, keeping the center of the chisel and the center of the piston within the allowable range, ensuring accuracy and stability when the piston strikes the chisel.
Limiting Function: Flat pins, locating pins, and other components limit the chisel's position, preventing it from shifting due to excessive impact during operation and ensuring proper crushing.
Participating in Crushing Operations: When the piston reciprocates within the middle cylinder, striking the chisel, the lower cylinder provides support and fixation for the chisel, enabling it to transfer the piston's impact force to the object being crushed, completing the crushing operation.
Material and Performance Requirements: The front head is constructed of high-strength alloy steel to withstand the immense impact and friction generated during crushing operations. Furthermore, to enhance its wear and corrosion resistance, the surface undergoes quenching and hard chrome plating, extending its service life.
